Dal 27 al 29 novembre 2018 a Norimberga si terrà SPS IPC Drives. Espositori, tra tedeschi e stranieri, presenteranno al pubblico internazionale specialistico prodotti, soluzioni e tecnologie d’avanguardia.

Could you give us the latest information on exhibitors and visitors of SPS IPC Drives 2018? / Ci può dare qualche dato su espositori e visitatori di SPS IPC Drives?
The outlook on the 29th SPS IPC Drives exhibition is again very positive and testifies to the importance of the exhibition for smart and digital automation. Around 1.700 exhibitors from international start-ups to key players will be present in Nuremberg from 27-29 November. They cover all aspects of industrial automation, from simple sensors to intelligent solutions. Furthermore, we are expecting once again about 70,000 trade visitorsfrom all over the world. Besides the direct access to the latest automation products, all visitors will benefit from the personal contact to international industry experts. / La prospettiva per la 29esima esposizione di SPS ICP Drives è nuovamente molto positiva e ribadisce l’importanza dell’evento per l’automazione. Circa 1.700 espositori, da start-up internazionali a personaggi chiave, saranno presenti a Norimberga dal 27 al 29 novembre ricoprendo tutti gli aspetti dell’automazione industriale: da semplici sensori a soluzioni intelligenti. Inoltre ci aspettiamo un’altra volta circa 70.000 visitatori da tutte le parti del mondo che potranno vedere gli ultimi prodotti di automazione ed entrare in contatto con gli esperti di industrie internazionali.
What are the main innovations? What is the focus of this year’s edition? / Quali sono le principali innovazioni? Qual è il focus dell’edizione di quest’anno?
This year, SPS IPC Drives expands its exhibition space to 17 halls. The newly built hall 3C will provide more space for the latest innovations and technologies for all suppliers of mechanical infrastructure. Moreover, because of its still growing importance for digital transformation, Software and IT in manufacturing will be represented in two halls for the first time, halls 5 and 6. Here the trade visitors will get a broad overview of various topics such as industrial web-services and cloud-computing. As in the previous year, the main topics of SPS IPC Drives are Industry 4.0 and the digital transformation. Products and solutions of the future will be in the center of attention as well as presentations and discussions that will provide further, topic-related information. / Quest’anno SPS ICP Drives espande il suo spazio espositivo a 17 padiglioni. Grazie al nuovo padiglione 3C, appena costruito, più spazio è dedicato alle ultime innovazioni e tecnologie per tutti i fornitori di infrastrutture meccaniche. Inoltre, per la crescente importanza della trasformazione digitale, Software e IT per la manifattura saranno rappresentati per la prima volta in due padiglioni dedicati, il 5 e il 6. Qui i visitatori acquisiranno un’ampia panoramica dei vari temi come web-services industriali e cloud-computing. Come negli anni precedenti i temi principali di SPS IPS Drives sono l’industria 4.0 e la trasformazione digitale. Prodotti e soluzioni del futuro saranno al centro dell’attenzione, insieme a presentazioni e dibattiti che forniranno ulteriori informazioni relativi ai temi.
Participation of Italian companies has always been very positive. Does this trend continue this year? / La partecipazione di aziende italiane è sempre stata molto positiva. Questa tendenza continua quest’anno?
Last year, from 70.264 visitors at total, 1.738 came from Italy and with this Italy has been one of the top 3 represented countries. We are aimed at the achievement of these result also this year. About 100 Italian automation companies will take part as exhibitors this year, which shows that SPS IPC Drives as the international platform for the automation industry is held in high reward by the Italians. / L’anno scorso dei 70.264 visitatori totali, 1.738 erano di nazionalità italiana e con questo numero l’Italia è stata una delle 3 nazioni più rappresentate. Miriamo allo stesso risultato anche quest’anno. Circa 100 aziende italiane di automazione partecipano come espositori, questo dimostra che SPS IPS Drives è la piattaforma internazionale per le industrie di automazione, considerata come un alto traguardo dagli italiani.
Last year SPS IPC Drives offered Guided Tours for the first time. Did you have a good feedback from visitors? How will the tours be organized this year? / L’anno scorso SPS IPS Drives offriva visite guidate per la prima volta. Avete ricevuto un feedback positivo dai visitatori? Come saranno organizzate le visite quest’anno?
We received a very good feedback on our Guided Tours. Our visitors praised the possibility to get a quick and effective overviewon future trends and to learn more about IT-Security in automation, Smart production as well as Smart connectivity. That’s the reason why we decided to offer the Guided Tours this year in the same manner. Once again visitors are given the chance to deepen their knowledge on main aspects of Industry 4.0 in only two hours. / Abbiamo ricevuto un feedback davvero buono per le visite guidate. I nostri visitatori hanno apprezzato e sfruttato la possibilità di avere una panoramica veloce ed efficace sulle tendenze del futuro, e di imparare di più sull’IT-Security nell’ambito dell’automazione, smart production e smart connectivity. Questa è la ragione per cui quest’anno abbiamo deciso di offrire visite guidate organizzate allo stesso modo. Ancora una volta i visitatori avranno l’opportunità di approfondire la loro conoscenza sulle principali tematiche dell’industria 4.0 in sole 2 ore.
Cyber security is going to be an important topic, also a hackathon will be held for the first time. How was this initiative born? How is it organized, who will be the protagonists and why is it important to participate? / La cyber security sarà un tema importante, per di più verrà organizzato un Hackathon per la prima volta. Com’è nata quest’iniziativa? Com’è organizzata, chi saranno i protagonisti e perché è importante partecipare?
Since the world of automation moves very fast, the key-players rely on new approaches and unconventional ideas. We will host the first “Automation Hackathon”of SPS IPC Drives this year. The event is intended to enable participants to jointly develop useful and creative software products for the automation industry. For this, ten exhibitors will set tasks with focus on the digital transformation. Various teams, that consist out of start-ups and students have to find solutions within 48 hours. The best results will be rewarded within theaward ceremony held on the first day of the exhibition at the Forum in hall 10.1. / Il mondo dell’automazione si muove velocemente, i personaggi chiave fanno affidamento a nuovi approcci e idee non convenzionali. Quest’anno ospiteremo la prima “Automation Hackathon” di SPS IPS Drives. L’evento mira a spronare i partecipanti a sviluppare insieme prodotti software utili e creativi per l’industria dell’automazione. Dieci espositori definiranno dei compiti con focus sulla trasformazione digitale. Diversi team, composti da start-up e studenti, dovranno trovare delle soluzioni al compito assegnato entro 48 ore. Il risultato migliore sarà premiato nella cerimonia di premiazione il primo giorno di fiera nella sala 10.1.
